Free sports physicals and immunizations for TPS students at Aug. 4 event

Tacoma Public Schools and MultiCare are partnering to provide physicals and vaccines for students this summer.

When: Thursday, Aug. 4, 3-6 p.m.
Where: Mount Tahoma High School, 4634 S. 74th St., Tacoma

Sports physicals
Middle and high school students can get a free sports physical, which includes distance eye screening, height/weight check, blood pressure check and a physical exam provided by a doctor.

Back-to-school vaccines

Those ages 6 months and up can get free back-to school vaccinations at the event, including TDAP, HPV, MC4 and more. Please bring your child’s immunization records.

COVID-19 vaccines
Those ages six months and up can get a free COVID-19 vaccine at the event; those 5 years and up can get a booster shot.

Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Paperwork must be completed at the event.
