Hello Lincoln families!

Highlights From This Week at Lincoln:

We had a fantastic band and orchestra concert last Wednesday where 130 of our students performed in the auditorium! 

Thank you to Mr. Briggs, Mr. Hake, all our musicians and families that made the concert a special night!

Spring Conferences March 16^th and 17^th
Spring Conferences will occur on Thursday, March 16th and Friday, March 17th.  We are open for in-person conferences, but we can also do conferences on Teams or over the phone.  We will have half days on the 16th and 17th.  School is out at 10:30a.m., but students can pick up lunch until 10:50a.m.

Please reach out to schedule a conference with your student’s teachers.  Conferences will be conducted Thursday and Friday. Teachers have the option of staying until 7:00pm for conferences on Thursday night.  If a teacher stays late on Thursday, they will take a half-day on Friday.

Scholar Saturday Next Saturday, March 18^th

Scholar Saturday will occur on March 18^th from 8am-12pm.  College Success Foundation will also be at school on 3/18 to provide information for families about college.  See below:

3/18, 9am-10am – College Knowledge: College & Career Connections (breakfast provided)

3/18, 11am-12pm – College Knowledge: All About College Bound Scholarships for Spanish-speaking families (there will be a Spanish translator available, lunch provided)

3/22, 6pm-7:30pm – Virtual College Knowledge: College & Career Connections

Microsoft Internship Due March 15^th

Applications for the Microsoft Internship is due March 15^th geared mostly toward our graduating seniors.  Please see Mr. Rob Jones, Mr. Jamila Jones, or Ms. Heavenly Cole for more information. 

Yearbook Senior Baby Photos/Graduation Ads due March 17^th Seniors can turn in Yearbook Senior Baby Photos to www.yearbookforever.com  The deadline for Senior Baby Photos will be Friday, March 17^th.

Upcoming family events
The school district is planning some great events for families.

• This Tuesday, you can attend a free online talk about restorative justice practices.
• In April, we’re offering a free financial literacy fair for families.
• And, get TPS night with the Tacoma Rainiers on your calendar now. You can get tickets now for the June 1 game and pre-game parade.
