Lincoln’s Drumline program represented Tacoma at the Glacier Peak Drumline Festival in Snohomish. They were awarded the 1st place overall trophy as well as the prestigious “Best Snare Section.” They scored 396 out of 400 points possible. Incredible work Lincoln!

Music teacher extraordinaire Peter Briggs said, “I was proud of how our students carried themselves – ‘dapping up’ and encouraging the other schools. I was reminded of the relationship between working hard, getting better and having fun. This specific line is performing more challenging music than any group of students I’ve had in my 17 years of working in Tacoma. And yet, they also present it with genuine joy. These kids inspire me on a profound level.”
