Lincoln High School's campus was buzzing with anticipation as students and coaches were able to use their newly renovated track and field for practices.

Soccer players dribbled with precision, honing their ball control skills on the revamped surface. Football athletes practiced agility drills, taking advantage of the track's marked lanes for speed and agility training. Runners, from the sprinters to the long-distance enthusiasts, could feel the difference in their stride.

Lincoln is one of six school athletic fields renovated this summer, allowing more schools to host their competitions. These improvements are part of the 2020 bond measure to replace aging neighborhood schools and make needed upgrades across the school district.
