High school pools across the district get needed improvements
Crews wrapped up improvement work on the Silas and Stadium high school pools recently, and Foss is next on deck. It will get upgrades to its mechanical system, diving well and pool linings. Work is scheduled to be complete by November.
Mt. Tahoma High School pool improvements are expected to start late July, with Lincoln High School pool improvements starting in the fall. While Foss and Mt. Tahoma pools are under construction, their school water sports will take place at Lincoln High School.
These improvements are expected to extend the life of the pools by 20-25 years. All are part of the 2020 bond measure to replace aging neighborhood schools and make needed upgrades across the district.
