Boys basketball
Lincoln High School boys earned the 7th seed in the WIAA 3A Hardwood Classic and received a first-round bye. The Abes will play their first state game on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. at Bellevue College versus #2 O’Dea High School.
In Lincoln’s West Central District Championship victory over Auburn Mountainview, sophomore Davion Shareef-Dulaney surpassed 1,000 career points.
Girls basketball
Lincoln High School girls will compete in the second round of the WIAA 3A Hardwood Classic on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. versus # 11 Lakeside High School.
Boys wrestling
Last weekend, TPS sent wrestlers from each of our high schools to compete in the Mat Classic XXXVII.
Silas High School sophomore Adrian Windsor won the 3A state championship at 120 pounds, defeating his opponent from Todd Beamer High School 17-2 to become a two-time state champion.
Additional 3A state placers from Silas include Donald Hetrick, who finished seventh at 120 pounds, and Zachary Nelson, who placed fourth at 285 pounds.
The Lincoln High School boys wrestling team earned a fourth-place finish at the tournament.
Lincoln individual state placers:
- Brandon Barnes placed 5th at 165 pounds.
- Foueti Unga placed 4th at 215 pounds.
- Jeriah Togiola placed 6th at 285 pounds.
- Tavarre Lee placed 2nd at 138 pounds.
- William Ross placed 4th at 132 pounds.
Girls wrestling
- Lincoln High School state placers:
- Jenisty Ongosia placed 3rd at 235 pounds.
- Joreena-Lynn Tupai placed 4th at 145 pounds.
- Mount Tahoma High School state placer:
- Jasia Fuamatu placed 2nd in the 3A 190-pound weight class.
- Silas High School state placers:
- NaeAna Bailey placed 5th in the 3A 170-pound weight class.
- Della Young placed 8th in the 3A 170-pound weight class.
- Stadium High School state placer:
- RyleeAnne Jugarap placed 7th in the 4A 100-pound weight class.
Boys swimming and diving
Silas High School:
Congratulations to Seth Balderson, who successfully defended his state championship in the boys 50-yard backstroke adaptive. Seth also finished second in the boys 50-yard freestyle adaptive.

Stadium High School:
Congratulations to Stadium High School’s Jack Andrew, who won the 4A state championship in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:40.45. He also placed 2nd in the 4A 100 butterfly with a time of 50.30.
Stadium’s 200-freestyle relay team of David Pearson, Enzo Yotsuuye, Andrew Deng, and Jack Andrew placed 7th in the 4A classification with a time of 1:29.75.
In 4A one-meter diving, Glorian Vertetis placed 9th with a final score of 229.70.
