Golf
The Tacoma Public Schools golf programs were well represented throughout league and district postseason competition this spring, with student-athletes from Silas Rams, Stadium Tigers, Lincoln Abes, Mt. Tahoma Thunderbirds, and Foss Falcons competing at a high level against some of the strongest fields in the state.

The biggest highlight came from Stadium Tigers freshman Cienna Chabot, who delivered an outstanding district tournament performance at Gold Mountain Golf Club. Chabot finished second overall in the 4A West Central District Tournament with a two-day total of 150 (+6), highlighted by an even-par 72 in the final round. Her performance helped lead Stadium to a third-place team finish in the highly competitive district field.

The Tigers also received strong contributions from:

  • Ella Enciso
  • Madelynn March
  • Leah Varkey
  • Ella Horwath

At the 3A level, Silas continued their strong postseason run by earning a second-place finish at the West Central District 3 Tournament at Allenmore Golf Course. Senior Ella Follen led the Rams with a fourth-place individual finish at 155 (+13).

Silas showcased impressive depth throughout the lineup, including:

  • Opal Herrmann, who finished 10th overall
  • Kenley Taylor, who placed 12th overall
  • Angelina Williams
  • Olivia Bustamante
  • Emery Nelson

On the boys side, Silas Rams senior Jordan Alwert posted the top finish among Tacoma boys golfers at the 3A district tournament, finishing with a two-day score of 164 (+20). The Rams also featured a young core that included freshmen Dillon Ngo and Domenic Harmon, both gaining valuable postseason experience.

Lincoln Abes were led by senior Shonuff Young, who finished with a two-round total of 169 (+25), while Mt. Tahoma Thunderbirds senior Griffin Reagan represented the Thunderbirds at districts with rounds of 85 and 96.

At the 2A district tournament, Foss Falcons had two golfers finish near the top of the standings. Junior Anthony Rodriguez tied for 14th overall with an 89 (+17), while junior Logan Keil finished just one stroke back at 90 (+18).

Additional TPS representation came from:
