Lincoln Choir teacher, Lynn Eisenhauer reflects on Women's History Month
Lynn Eisenhauer, beloved choir teacher at Lincoln High School, reflects on Women’s History Month and her 47-year journey as an educator. As she prepares to retire, she talks about the changing role of women she has seen and her hope that she has empowered future leaders.
“Thinking about how hard people have fought for women’s rights and thinking about how quickly things we’ve taken for granted can vanish. I hope that I have empowered girls along the way to see themselves as being easily as capable as boys in doing solos or taking lead parts on, or certainly being the leaders in the community that we create together.”
